Former Coventry City defender Peter Atherton is one of three people who will be in charge of Wigan Athletic for Saturday's game against Cardiff City.
Atherton has been Wigan's U23's coach and will take charge of the team along with Graham Barrow and Joe Parkinson, following the dismissal of Gary Caldwell.
