Former Coventry City youngster Shaun Jeffers played in the National League South Play-Off Final today.
Jeffers, who made six appearances for City has been at Chelmsford City this season and has scored 21 goals in 39 games.
Those goals have helped Chelmsford into a play-off final away to Ebbsfleet United.
Chelmsford took the lead in front of a crowd of 3.123 but Ebbsfleet came back to win 2-1 and next season they will play in the National League division, just one league below Coventry City in League 2.
