Adam Virgo scored for Brighton and Hove Albion tonight in their JP Trophy game at home to Leyton Orient. The game finished 2-2 and went to penalties with Virgo and Kevin Thornton scoring to give Brighton a 5-4 penalties victory.

In the same competition, Stephen Hughes played eighty minutes for Walsall in a 2-1 win at Cheltenham.

Craig Bellamy is sleeping in an an altitude tent to try and resurrect his footballing career. The much hated striker is hoping to make his first start for a year for Wales against Liechtenstein on Saturday.
