Gary McSheffrey gave Birmingham City a 31st minute lead in their home game against Luton Town. The match finished 2-2 and sees Birmingham City nine points clear at the top of the table.
 
Youseff Safri is looking to leave Norwich City due to a lack of first team opportunities under Peter Grant. Said the former Sky Blue who was sold to Norwich for £500k to the Sun: "It has been frustrating, I've never spent so long on the substitutes' bench before. "I want to be in the first choice starting XI all the time. "If it stays like this I'll have to look elsewhere. "My career is going to be destroyed if I am not playing regularly."
Stephen Pressley has again teamed up with Gordon Strachan and has signed for Celtic on an eighteen month deal.  The defender who failed to impress whilst at the Sky Blues has been without a club since walking out of Hearts.
Two former Sky Blues may have to retire through injury. Noel Whelan is reported as having talks about terminating his career at Dunfermline. The striker who played 155 times for City has played only four minutes of football for the Pars this season.
Graham Barrett may also have to quit. The forward who counts Arsenal amongst his former clubs has another long term injury and is expected to be out of action for Falkirk for a further year.
