City Off The Bottom

Coventry City are off the bottom of the League One table after their 2-0 win at Port Vale.

City are now above Oldham Athletic who lost 2-0 at home to MK Dons on goal difference and are a point behind Shrewsbury who drew 1-1 with Swndon Town and three behind fourth from bottom Southend United who drew 1-1 at home to Peterborough.

Scunthorpe United are three points clear at the top of the table after a 2-1 win at Bury who dropped to third with Bradford City up to second after a 1-0 win at Chesterfield.

Sheffield United are fourth thanks to a 1-1 draw at Fleetwood with Northampton who lost 3-2 at home to seventh placed Bristol Rovers in fifth and Port Vale sixth.

Elsewhere, AFC Wimbledon beat Gillingham 2-0, Oxford won 2-0 at Bolton, Rochdale won 1-0 at Charlton and Walsall beat Millwall 2-1.
