Former Coventry City manager John Sillett has said that the Sky Blues need to sort out the amount of loan players they have been bringing in.

Nick Proshwicz is the latest loanee to have joined the club and speaking about the amount of loanees City have, John Sillett told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I’d like to know who brings the players in.

“Is it the manager or is Steve Waggott doing the lot? You have got to realise that loan players want to play for the club they are at and they come to you and some signings come off and some don’t.

“I think we have got to get it sorted because selling your best players is not the answer for the money we’re selling them for. If you want to win things you keep your best players and you want the phone to ring to take away the players you’re not so sure of. It’s all back to front to me.”
