Coventry City are looking for more Associate Directors.

This group of City supporters make up an advisory group to Coventry City's Board,

Estate Agent David Shortland told the CT: “I was invited to become an associate director some years ago now and it has been a great way to give something back to the club.

“Each of us on the advisory board has nothing but Coventry City’s best interests at heart. We talk to a lot of people in the local business community and can provide a good gauge of what local people are saying.

“There is already a Supporters’ Consultative Group (SCG) which provides general feedback to the club and acts as a bridge to fans of the club, so that is not our role.

"We support the club in an advisory role and each of the associate directors has also made a financial contribution to the club too.

“We have all been successful in business in the city and we want to help the football club in any way we can to achieve success on and off the pitch.”
