Coventry City Ladies Reserves won 5-2 at Nottingham Forest to finish in fifth place in the WPL Reserve league.

Maz Gauntlett and Danni Saulter who are both making their comebacks from long term injuries, were on the bench for this game at Carlton FC which saw Forest take the lead with their first shot of the game despite, the Sky Blues dominating early on and creating three clear cut chances.

City drew level when Cherelle Archibald scored with a superb curling effort into the far top corner from 22 yards.

It was two when Henson scored a stunner with a half volley from fully 30 yards and then three as Archibald stabs in her second of the game from close range from a corner with a very tidy finish

Into the second half and Forest pulled a goal back with a great finish but City subs Gauntlett and Saulter combined for Saulter to finish beautifully from 12 yards.

Saulter scored a second late on as City took a 5-2 win.
