Coventry City are through to the Birmingham County FA Women's Cup Semi-Final with a 10-0 victory over Crusaders.
 
At Bedworth United, City had a goal ruled out after a hundred seconds for offiside and in their next attack, Helen Dermody flicked wide from a Gauntlett through ball.
 
 
Dermody had a fourth minute shot saved for the first of two corners and Miles struck the post with a great shot two minutes later.
 
 
Crusaders, who were organised and well disciplined, did have one chance ‎but the ball was soon back up the other end with a goal ruled out in the 25th minute and Johnson hitting the post with a backheeler.
 
 
‎Dermody had a 28th minute shot pushed over by a keeper who was keeping her side in the game.
 
 
‎In the 34th minute, Formaston fired just over and Gauntlett did with a shot on the turn a minute later.
 
The game came to life with two goals in less than a minute. After Niki Miles had hit the post. City attacked through Jade Formaston who stroked a lovely shot into the net from the edge of the area. Seconds later, it was two thanks to Helen Dermody keeping her cool and beating the advancing keeper.
 
City kept the pressure on when the second half started and were soon winning a corner.
 
Five minutes into the second half and City had a third goal when Jade Formaston hit a low shot that squirmed under the keeper and trickled over the line.
 
In the 53rd minute, City were awarded a free kick and Helen Dermody sent a super kick high past the keeper and into the net.
 
‎Two minutes later and City had another goal ruled out by the Crusaders clublinesman following a Quayle shot which had crashed against the crossbar.
 
In the 61st minute, Craig Nicholls side were awarded a penalty when the referee spotted a handball and Gauntlett stepped up to score.
 
Two minutes later and it was six when Ashley Neville stormed down the left and slipped the ball past the keeper.
 
A great move saw Gauntlett send a header onto rthe keeper's left hand post for a City side ‎which had a seventh goal in the 69th minute when Ashley Neville finished off a cross.
Amber Hughes had come on as a sub and in the 72nd minute, she scored before ‎Dermody completed her hat-trick.
 
‎City had another goal ruled out for offside in the 81st minute and had three misses and a superb save from the keeper and in the 90th minute, Helen Dermody  got the tenth goal that their support demanded with a powerful twenty yarder.
