Coventry City Ladies beat West Ham United 2-1 in their final pre-season game this afternoon.
At Aveley FC and against a side managed by Julian Dicks, City took the lead in the 32nd minute when Destiny Toussaint fired into the roof of the net from a Helen Dermody corner.
Karen Clough hit the post after being sent clear but gave the Sky Blues a 2-0 lead at the break when she got through again, turned onto her left and finished inside near post.
The Hammers pulled one back in the second half but City left with a 2-1 win.
