City Go For Nike

Coventry City have signed a deal to wear Nike branded kits for the next four years.

City have signed a deal with Spennymoor based justsports group who have a licence to distribute Nike kit in the UK from their warehouse in Durham.

Steve Waggott, chief executive of Coventry City Football Club, said to the club website: “The Nike swoosh is an iconic logo which is known the world over and I think this will be a very popular move among supporters.
 
“We are absolutely delighted to complete this deal and I know everyone is really looking forward to seeing the new kit design, which will be revealed very soon.
 
“This is a really exciting new partnership and we look forward to working with Just Sport Group over the next four years.
 
“We are grateful for all of the support we have had from Puma – our current supplier – but we felt the time was right to move in a different direction.”
