Coventry City players Conor Thomas and Callum Wilson were in Broadgate yesterday to help mark the launch of the Poppy Appeal.

Coventry school children released 568 red balloons to mark everyone officially killed during the Blitz on Coventry on November 14th 1940.

There was also a minute's silence and prayers for all those Coventrians who suffered that night.

City will mark Remembrance Day at their home game with Scunthorpe United on November 10th.

Remember that Briitish Summer Time ends tonight and the clocks go back.
