City Drop In To The Relegation Zone

Coventry City dropped into the League One relegation zone when they allowed Michael Doyle and Jamie Murphy to cancel out a Dominic Samuel brace in a 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.

The Sky Blues are now 21st in the league table with 33 points from 31 games after Colchester United beat League One leaders Bristol City 3-2.

City are ahead of Crawley Town who won 2-1 at Swindon on goal difference and a point ahead of Leyton Orient who beat Oldham 3-0 and four points ahead of Yeovil who drew 2-2 with Gillingham.

City are five points behind 19th placed Crewe who lost 2-0 at 18th placed Barnsley and 17th placed Notts County who lost 2-1 at Fleetwood Town.

MK Dons are second in the table after a 3-0 home win over Peterborough United. Preston asre fourth after a 2-0 win over Scunthorpe with Sheffield United fifth and Bradford City who drew 1-1 with Walsall sixth.

Elsewhere, Port Vale beat Doncaster 3-0.
