Coventry City are down to sixteenth in the Championship table after their 1-0 defeat at fifth placed Leeds United.

City have 36 points from thirty matches and are nine points clear of the bottom three and twelve points off the play-offs.

QPR are seven points clear at the top after their win at Reading on Friday night. The West Londoners are ahead of Nottingham Forest who beat Watford 1-0 at the City Ground.

Norwich who lost 2-1 at Burnley are third with Swansea, who play sixth place Cardiff on Sunday, in fourth.

Millwall's stoppage time win over Doncaster moved them up to seventh with Leicester who beat Barnsley 4-1 at home in eighth.

At the bottom of the table, Preston lost 4-0 at home to Bristol City and Scunthorpe lost 5-1 at home to Hull City. Sheffield United for whom Michael Doyle was booked are third bottom after a 3-0 defeat at Ipswich.

Elsewhere, Portsmouth came back to snatch a 1-1 draw against Derby and Crystal Palace beat Middlesbrough 1-0.

Former City striker Leon Best scored for Newcastle in a 4-4 draw against Arsenal.

Julian Gray scored twice for Walsall in a 3-1 win at Carlisle whilst Clinton Morrison was scored and booked in Sheffield Wednesday's 2-2 draw with MK Dons.

Craig Reid played for an hour of Stevenage's 2-2 home draw with Accrington.
