Wolves' 2-0 win over fourth placed Preston sees them third, with Rotherham going fifth after a 4-2 win against 22nd place Crewe.

Peterborough United are down to sixth after a 2-1 defeat at Swindon Town.

Bottom side Stevenage lost 1-0 at Oldham with second from bottom Bristol City drawing 1-1 at Bradford City and fourth from bottom Notts County beating Sheffield United 2-1.

Elsewhere, Colchester beat Gillingham 3-0 and Tranmere drew 1-1 with Walsall.
