City Boss Watches Leicester Win

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd was an interested spectator as Leicester City stoppped Bristol City gaining ground on the Sky Blues tonight in a Championship game at the Walkers Stadium.

The City boss was watching Leicester ahead of Coventry's game there next Saturday and saw an error by David James let in Yakuba for the opening goal.

Bristol City, who would have gone a point behind the Sky Blues had they won, equalised through Elliott in the 57th minute but in stoppage time, Martin Waghorn hit the winner for Leicester to take Sven Goran Erikkson's side into seventh in the Championship table.

On Saturday, Aidy Boothroyd will be on the road again when he travels to South Wales to check up on Swansea City who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night. Swansea face Doncaster Rovers.

Other Championship matches are: Palace V Sheff Utd, Ipswich V Hull, Leeds v Norwich, Millwall v Middlesbrough, Forest V Cardiff, Portsmouth V Barnsley, Preston V QPR, Reading V Watford and Scunthorpe V Derby.
