Updates from Coventry City's pre-season game at Chesterfield tonight will appear on this site.
It is not a very pleasant evening at the B2net Stadium Chersterfield tonight.
As the fans start to arrive inside the ground for the pre-season friendly game between Chesterfield and Coventry City, the stewards are trying to force people into their own seats.

Coventry City, Murphy, Keogh, Hussey, Wood, Christie, Bell, Clingan, Thomas, McSheffrey, Jutkiewicz, Eastwood. Subs; Jeffers, Dunn, O'Donovan, Williamson, Cameron.
The referee blows to start the game and immediately Coventry City go on an attack. Jukiewicz receives the ball and goes round the goalkeeper, but his shot is somehow cleared off the line and out for a City corner and all within the first 53 seconds.
3. Chesterfield number 9 fires across the area before Abbots fires wide. Murphy yells at his defence to get effin (sic) tighter before Woods heads another cross away.
8. Christie swings in a cross which is cleared. Clingan, the playmaker in the midfield, tries a shot from 20 yards but it is blocked.
Joe Elliott is once again among the away support which is about 350 strong.
13. Morgan has a shot at the City goal, but Murphy is equal to it and gets down to save it.
15. City have another attack. A four players pass the ball between themselves and the ball finaly arrive at McSheffrey's feet who has a low shot saved.
16. Chesterfield win a corner which the Cty defence clear away with ease. Hussey has made three cracking tackles already.
17. City lose the ball in midfield, but Keogh makes a great tackle to take the ball off Bowry.
20. A moment of light relief when a Cheterfield player has to change his shorts amid wolf whistles from the home fans. Coventry win a corner which is cleared.
25. Coventry win a free kick 25 yards out. Clingan takes it and his curling shot is deflected out for a corner.
26. Keogh heads over the bar.
30. Whittaker curls a shot wide from 20 yards.
35. The Coventry City fans are in more danger than the goal. At the other end Jutkiewicz has another shot blocked this time by Lee. Then Eastwood misses his chance completely.
36. A McSheffrey shots goes well over the bar
39. Jutkiewicz crosses, but the ball is headed over the bar for a City corner which is over hit by Clingan.
40. Goal: 1-0 to Coventry. Clingan plays in Hussey who slips the ball past Lee in the Chesterfield goal.

44. A Hussey cross is deflected out for a corner which McSheffrey heads over.

The second half gets underway. City are attacking the end where the City fans are.
47. Woods head away before Whittaker fires wide for Chesterfield.
49. A Jukiewicz cross just eludes Eastwood and the ball is cleared.

54. Chesterfield win a corner but it is easilt dealt with and the ball is up the other end in no time and Conor Thomas gets in a good shot which is deflected over the bar for a corner.
59, A Hussey cross looked to have gone into the goal.
60, Goal: Chesterfield equalise again, this time though Morgan who scores with a low drive from 20 yards out.

62. Eastwood tries his luck with a header but Lee saves with one hand giving Eastwood a second bite at the cherry, but he thumps the loose ball into the stand.
Attendance is given as 2572.
67. City win a free kick which result in another corner.
71. The liokes of McSheffrey and Hussey are putting in some crosses to cause plenty of problems for the Cheterfield defence.
72. Substitution. O'Donovan is on for Eastwood.
News form the under 18's game at Afan Lido. Coventry City won that game 1-0 with a Billy Daniels goal.
76. McSheffrey fires a shot straight across the box.
Jutkiewicz is being persitantly fouled.
85. Bell has shot saved.
89. Chesterfield cross from the left wins a corner which is cleared by the City defence for another corner. Murphy gets down well to save a header from the corner, but he loses control and there is a goal mouth scramble and the ball ends up in the City net, but it is ruled out for offside.
