Coventry City are looking to bring in a defensive midfielder.
Steven Pressley and Steve Waggott tried to sign one such player before the transfer window closed but it failed to materialise and Pressley told Andy Turner of the Coventry Telegraph: “We’re looking for a more defensive midfielder.
“One we were looking at late in the window didn’t materialise but we’re going to assess what loans are available and players who have maybe had their contract terminated.
“Then we’ll put an action plan together because it’s an area we’d like to get additional cover in.
“We’re going to have a look at the left-back position because Reda Johnson’s had quite a lot of injuries and we need additional cover there as well as the other side.”
