Charles-Cook - My Debut Could Not Have Gone Any Better

Reice Charles-Cook has said that his Coventry City debut could not have gone any better.

The keeper, who came in for Lee Burge, kept a clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town at the Ricoh Arena and told Keiran Crowley: "It couldn't have gone any better on Saturday. The back four did what they had to do and I couldn't have dreamed for a better debut.

"When you score three goals people don't look at the defensive side of things. But we do! We're pleased with the way we defended. The gaffer gave us a plan and we executed it to perfection.

The defence told me to stay involved vocally and that's what I do anyway. I had a dodgy kick in the first-half, I thought it could be a long day after that! But it was fine, we work on reactions in training."
