Former Coventry City midfielder Lee Carsley is out for six weeks after injuring his ankle in Birmingham City's FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.

"We're probably looking at Lee being out for six weeks," said Birmingham boss Alex McLeish to the BBC.

"His ankle is in a boot, is stabilised and that is going to help him more. But he doesn't need any surgery."
