Former Coventry City loanee Callum Ball is amongst a host of players signed by Nuneaton Town.

Ball, will be remembered by City supporters for his goal at Arsenal in a League Cup tie and has been at St Mirren, Corby Town and Barwell after being released by Derby County.

Ball said to the Nuneaton Town club website: “I’ve worked with the Gaffer before so I had no hesitation in joining up with him again here.

“It’s nice to be back playing at this level again; there’s a strong squad being built here and the club is really looking to push on.

“There is so much positivity, from top to bottom, and it’s a good place to be. It’s going to be a tough challenge but if we work together as a team, we can really achieve something.

“Hopefully I can score a few goals and help us challenge at the right end of the table. I see myself more as a target man who can hold the ball up and bring others into play.

“I’d like to think that I’ll be able to help the younger lads around me and weigh in with my fair share of goals along the way.”

Ball is joined by Alex Henshall, Niall Heaton, Luther Wildin, Brady Hickey and Courtney Wildin who have all joined within the last month.
