Coventry City keeper Lee Burge said it was good to get a game in after playing the whole game of City U23's 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers yesterday.
Burge, who has missed the opening two first team matches with a shoulder injury, told the club website: "It's been frustrating to pick up an injury, especially when I've been feeling so good in training. I got up to match fitness and sharpness and now it feels like you have to start all over again.
"It was good to get a game in, good to get a clean sheet and a win. the young lads did well out there today. I've come through the game without any problems so feel fine moving forward.
"They weren't a bad side, they were quite direct and had a couple of chances. It was good to get my sharpness back and my distances really because I felt a little rusty at the start!"
City U23' are back in action on Friday with a trip to Birmingham City.
