The currently appointed referee for Coventry City’s League One game at Yeovil Town is Mark Brown.

Mr Brown, a taxi driver by trade, found fame four years ago when he was banned by Mike Riley for three weeks for posting a joke about Stephen Gerrard on a social networking site.

His last City game was the JPT game between City and Sheffield United on December 4th 2012. Other City matches that he has been in charge of are: the 1-1 home draw against Crystal Palace on March 6th 2012 and the 1-0 defeat at Peterborough in December 2011.

This season, he has had 21 games and shown 41 yellows and five reds.

His assistants are Nicholas Gibbons and Jason Tyas. The Fourth Official is David Benton.
