Boothroyd; We Have To Be Prepared For Burnley

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that his side must be prepared for the visit of Burnley on Saturday.

The Sky Blues go into the game at the Ricoh Arena, having lost their last three matches whilst Burnley have yet to win away.

"They're a hard side to beat, they've got Premier League experience and they're one of the favourites to go back up," said Boothroyd (pictured below)to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference.

"There's always a hangover with Premier League teams. I've been there myself and at some point or other they'll go through a bad spell and have to come out of it.

"We've just got to make sure we prepare ourselves right because we know we're in for a tough game. The fact they've not won away from home also makes it one of those games where you've got to be extra careful."

He added: "I think they've got a good, strong squad, they're a Premier League team who have kept their manager which is unusual. Brian Laws has been around a bit, he's a very experienced manager who I've got a lot of time for. I think if you underestimate them then you do so at your peril."
