Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has refused to blame his strikers Lukas Jutkiewicz and Marlon King for the chances they missed early on at Crystal Palace.
Both strikers had some really chances to put City ahead before two contentious decisions changed the game to Palace's favour. However, Aidy Boothroyd felt that Lee Carsley's second half effort which was saved by Julian Speroni was the best chance and told the Press Association: "It was a brilliant save.
"If we scored that we would have won the game."
