Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he is happy to be in the FA Cup Fourth Round as City let Palace back into the game and got through 2-1 at the Ricoh Arena this afternoon.

Speaking to the Press Association, Boothroyd said: "We are in the hat and that's what it's all about - getting through. And, also, considering the run we've had, it was nice to get a win. But we could have been taken to a replay and that would have been awful.

"We played really well for long periods of the game and were in control until the last 10 minutes but then we got nervous, which is to be expected considering results.

"We had made good decisions throughout the game and we picked the right passes. It doesn't matter to me whether it's long or short, it has to be the right pass. The lads who came in did well and have given me a decision to make.

"Keiren showed good concentration as he hadn't had much to do for 80 minutes. That's what separates good and great players from average players."
