Current Coventry City CEO David Boddy has said that the Sky Blues are in talks about playing elsewhere next season.

The Sky Blues are coming to the end of their tenure at the Ricoh Arena and Sisu have made it clear in their statement yesterday, that any stay at the Ricoh Arena in the future is only until their new stadium is built.

Speaking ahead of the talks between all parties at Westminster today hosted by the Secretary Of State Jeremy Wright, Boddy, told The Mirror: “It would be naïve of us not to look at other options because the time is ticking away.

“We have to be prudent and we are talking to one or two people at the moment.

“The survival of the club is the most important thing.

"I believe that the EFL have said that we have to be within six miles but if it is marginally outside of that perimeter then so be it."
