Bell Happy With Win Against Brum

Coventry City winger David Bell was pleased with City's win over Birmingham City on Saturday.

"I'm really happy for the boys and they all worked so hard so they really deserve it," said Bell to Sky Blue World.

"Sometimes an early goal can work against you because it can kind of put you on the back foot. But I thought the guys at the back were great and it was really pleasing to get three points against one of the league's top teams.

"We're eight points shy of the play-offs and it is probably a long way off but there is always a team that makes a late push so I would be foolish to rule anything out with so much left of the season.

"I'm just a bit disappointed that, with all the boys confident after a result like that, I won't be available for the cup game against Blackburn on Tuesday because I'm cup tied.

"But I will be at the stadium cheering the boys on along with the rest of the fans, hoping we can follow up the Birmingham win with another positive result against Blackburn."
