Coventry City midfielder Adam Barton has said that he is up for his home debut against Sheffield United tonight.
Speaking to City club journalist Keiran Crowley, Barton said: “I have played here before when I was playing for Preston. I remember the home support was great and I am looking forward to it.
“It is always a new experience playing in front of your home fans and hopefully we can give them a performance.
“It is important we get off to the right start at home as we want to start as we mean to go on and in a promotion race, your home games are really important.
“We know it will be one of the more difficult games of the season and to play this game early on will be quite a challenge for us, but a challenge we are ready for.”
