Barry Powell To Run Youth Footballer Development Programme

Former Coventry City midfielder Barry Powell is to run a Male/Youth Football Player development programme

This will take place, later this year at Coventry University (Westwood Heath Sports Ground), Westwood Heath Road, Coventry, CV4 8GP

Any male aged between 16-19 years who wants to continue with their academic and football development and wants to play further Football in non league linked Clubs of BCFDS can apply and they will be studying full time for a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport

The course is suitable for students who have a keen interest in sports and who are of a good sporting standard and have a minimum of 4 GCSE at Grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent) or a BTEC Level 2 sport qualification with a Merit profile.

Modules will include Anatomy, Psychology, Practical Sport, Training & Fitness and Sports Nutrition.
