Barnsley keeper Luke Steele claimed that in an interview this morning that he had not played for Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.

The keeper who will face City tomorrow night told Barnsley World TV: "When I was 19 I went down to Coventry on loan and had a spell there playing 36 games. We were in a relegation battle as well down at Highfield Road.

"I have some fond memories there and some friends but I never had the chance to play at the Ricoh Arena. It is a good club and I enjoyed my spell there."

Luke obviously forgot about his second spell at Coventry City in 2006/2007. He was signed on loan from West Brom and made his second debut at Luton on December 23 2006.

He was in goal for the 4-2 home defeat by Crystal Palace on January 13th 2007 which helped to cost manager Micky Adams his job, as well as the home FA Cup Replay against Bristol City defeat which did cost Adams his job and the home 1-0 win over Luton on January 30th, all three matches which were played at the Ricoh Arena.
