Baker Looking To Improve

Coventry City captain Carl Baker has said that he is looking to improve.

Baker won the clean sweep of supporter awards on Saturday but told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “There are still things I want to improve on because as a footballer you are never happy.

“I can improve on the number of fouls conceded and, ideally, I wouldn’t be in the shots off target column. I look at the stats every week and think I am way ahead on crosses I put in as well so I am pleased with that, but when I look back at games I want to be keeping the ball a bit better. I also want to get a lot fitter and stronger.

“This season has gone really well for me and I have played a load of games and scored a lot of goals so I am really happy about that because at the beginning of the season that’s exactly what I wanted to do.

“So I have achieved my goals but as a player you always want to get better and better and I’ll go away in the summer and look at the games this season and hopefully come back stronger and fitter and hopefully do the same next year.”
