As You Were City

Coventry City appear no closer to bringing in the new striker on loan that manager Andy Thorn feels the team needs, it is understood.

Thorn has seen two of his targets including QPR's Rob Hulse being taken back into the fold of their first team's whilst the City boss was not prepared to take another striker and get him fit.

Thorn and Steve Waggot who has been brought in by the Board to assist with transfers are continuing to look for new players before the Emergency Loan Window closes next month but have yet to come up with the right player who fits into their plans, will play for a team in the bottom three of the Championship and fits in with their budget.
