Armstrong Plays For England U19's

Coventry City loanee Adam Armstrong played for England U19's in their final European Championship Qualifier against Italy this afternoon.

Aidy Boothroyd's side had already qualified for the next stage and needed a point against Italy in Macedonia to top the group.

Armstrong started the game which saw no goals in the first half and the striker on loan from Newcastle United replaced in the second half by Joshua Onomah in a game which finished 0-0.
