Adam Armstrong has said that he is committed to Coventry City.

Speaking at this morning's press conference after his loan from Newcastle United was extended for the rest of the season, Armstrong told the Coventry Telegraph: “I am over the moon and 100 per cent committed to this club.

“There have been a lot of rumours but I wanted to stay here.

“We have got some really good young players here and nice mix of experience too.

“The gaffer has been massive for me and I wouldn’t be where I am in my career without his help this season.

“I have learned a lot and just concentrate on what goes on on the pitch. I just get my head down and work every day.

“You have to learn things as a young player and this has been a massive step in my career and we are just ready to get promoted now.

“It’s massive to be playing with a world class player like Joe Cole.

“I feel very lucky to be a footballer. It’s the best job in the world and I am living every kid’s dream."
