Aloisi Plays In Oz Draw

John Aloisi played for 65 minutes of Australia's 1-1 draw with Holland in Rotterdam. Ruud Van Nistleroy put the Dutch who had Phillip Cocu, Wesley Sneijder and Giovanni van Bronckhorst all limp off, ahead in the ninth minute with Everton's Tim Cahill equalising after 54 minutes.

Aloisi who is currently at Spanish side Alaves was replaced by Mark Viduka.

Calum Davenport who was linked with a move to Watford by one Sunday Newspaper is according to his agent staying at Tottenham Hotspur. Speaking to Sky Sports,Davenport's agent Colin Gordon said: "It is rubbish to suggest Calum has been told he can leave. "He has not been told anything and he is one of four central defenders at Tottenham. He is looking forward to the new season."

John Eustace is hoping to be back for the start of the season. The former City midfielder who was an ACCSCAG Young Player Of The Year winner, did not play one game for Stoke City in the season just gone due to a ligament injury.
