Aloisi In At Brisbane Roar

Former Coventry City striker John Aloisi has been appointed Head Coach at Hyundai A-League side Brisbane Roar.

Aloisi, who made forty one appearances for City, scoring ten goals in the Premer League, has played for clubs in Belgium, Italy, Spain and his native Australia for whom he made 55 international appearances, scoring twenty seven goals.

Aloisi has been coaching in Melbourne and said about being appointed as Head Coach to a side which has won the A-League three times: I am extremely proud and honoured to join Brisbane Roar.

"The club has defined success in the first 10 years of the Hyundai A-League and I am determined to ensure the high standards the Roar players, members, sponsors and supporters have come to expect continue under my stewardship."
