Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said he was happy with the Sky Blues 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town this afternoon.

Speaking to the Press Association after the game, Boothroyd said: "My gut feeling is that this is a positive result for us. When you come from 1-0 down and have a man sent off, it's good to get something from the game.

"We might look back at this at the end of the season and say that this was a good result for us. We had a good seeing to at Cardiff and we responded well against QPR in the first half but they are a good side and deserve to be where they are in the table so this was good for morale and confidence.

"We are in reasonable shape at the turn into the second half of the season. But we are all judged at the end of the season. Ipswich are not far off the play-offs and we are not far off 19th and we have to remember that because we are only halfway through."
