Coventry City Reserves fielded a trialist this afternoon in Marvin Hasselbaink, who scored City's goal in a 1-1 draw with Hereford United.
The 23 year old is from Surinam and is a right footed centre forward.
He has been out of contract since June after spending five years coming through Ajax's Youth system and two years at Dutch side Almere City FC.
Hasselbaink is training with City this week.
