A Host Of City Old Boys Linked With Blackburn Vacancy

A host of former Coventry City managers and players have been linked with the Blackburn Rovers manager job.

Former City player and manager Gordon Strachan had been a 25/1 shot to become the next manager of Nottingham Forest, a position now filled by  former Scotland, Villa and Birmingham boss Alex McLeish.

Strachan is also priced at 25/1 for the Blackburn Rovers job which came up on Thursday morning after Henning Berg was sacked for Rovers taking only five out of the last eighteen points.

Mark Hughes is the 6/4 favourite but you can get 16/1 on former City trailist under Jimmy Hill - Kevin Keegan, 16/1 on former City captain Tim Sherwood, former City player and manager Gary McAllister is a 33/1 shot the same price as Peter Reid and Iain Dowie, whilst Eric Black is a 50/1 shot.
