45 Minutes Each Way To Be Scrapped?

Amongst other things, the International Football Association Board are considering scraping the current length of each half of a football match,

The game has long been played with two halves of forty five minutes plus what time the referee wishes to add on. However, there are plans to reduce that to sixty minutes with play stopped every time the ball goes out of play in a bid to try and eradicate time wasting.

The changes are in a pdf document called play-fair and you can read them by clicking on http://www.play-fair.com/data/Strategy_Paper_EN_150dpi_Doppelseiten.pdf
