36 City Arrested Last Season

According to figures released by The Home Office today, twelve Coventry City fans have banning orders issued against them from 31st October 2008 to 10th November 2009, this takes the figure to those with banning orders to 48.

During the 2008/09 season, there were 36 Coventry City fans arrested (15 at home and 21 away). Their offiences were violent disorder (3), Public Disorder (14), Pitch Incursion (2), Alcohol Offences (15), Offences Against Property (1), Breach Of Banning Order (1). Records do not say how many of these were actually found guilty of these offences.

During the 2008/2009 season, the total number of people arrested in connection with all international and domestic matches involving teams from England and Wales was 3,752 and is just 0.001% of all spectators who attended matches.
