WHO ARE THEY?

Three times they have won what is now the Premiership title and have also won the old Division Two title on three occasions. They have finished as league runners up on eight occasions. Leeds have won the FA & League Cup and have won the old Fairs Cup twice.

In 2001,they were Champions League Semi-Finalists but things took a turn for the worst for the Elland Road club with financial problems and relegation to the Championship in 2004.

RECENT FORM
City were beaten 2-1 at Ipswich Town on Tuesday night whilst Leeds lost 3-0 at home to Sunderland on Wednesday.
City do not have a good record against Leeds. This will be the 78th meeting between the two sides and City have only won on sixteen occasions, with twenty one draws.
Last season, the game at the Arena finished in a 1-1 draw. Gary McSheffrey put City ahead but in a controversial game, Leeds were awarded an 87th minute penalty that David Healy converted.

TEAM NEWS
Mikkel Bischoff and Wayne Andrews are still the long term injury worries. David McNamee and Jay Tabb should both be available for selection. Micky Adams will have the problem of whether to start Leon McKenzie after he impressed the City support at Ipswich on Tuesday night.
Kevin Blackwell will be in charge of Leeds. There were calls for his head after the Sunderland defeat but Blackwell remains defiant saying: "I think the fans need to know the real truth about this football club."
The underfire boss has worries over David Healy, Gary Kelly, Paul Butler and Jermaine Beckford. Frazer Richardson is definitely out but Steve Stone and Kevin Nicholls should be available.
