Coventry City Reserves take on Southampton tonight at Rugby Town FC.

Alan Cork will name a vastly different side from the one that won at Charlton last week. Striker Craig Reid who scored the only goal in that game is on loan at Tamworth, whilst Adam Layfield is out after fracturing his ankle playing for the U18's on Saturday, a game which also saw Vijay Sidhu has damaged knee ligaments.

Andy Gooding who has been called for England U18's v Slovenia next month has not recovered from the knock which forced him to limp off at Charlton.

The City Reserves team boss has named Stephen Hughes in a very strong Sky Blues line-up. The City skipper who is coming back from injury will start as will fit again Richard Duffy. Also drafted in are Andy Impey,Adie Williams, Andy Morrell with Clayton Ince taking over in goal.

Matt Heath who was watched by Hull City boss Peter Taylor last week at Charlton, keeps his place as does Aaron Stringfellow,Kevin Thornton, Paul McCrink and Ryan Lynch.

On the bench,City welcome back Stuart Giddings who has spent the last eighteen months out with a knee injury.

City currently lie third in the table with Southampton fourth.

Southampton coach Stewart Henderson has named a reasonable side with Nathan Dyer's whose pace impressed many City fans during the first team's 1-1 draw at St Mary's earlier in the month, starting in a side which also sees Martin Crainey and Zach Jones who is on loan from Blackburn start.

Season ticket holders as always get in free.

To Get to Butlin Road,Rugby,Warwickshire,CV21 3SD

Exit the M6, Junction 1 (or M1, Junction 19), and follow signs towards Rugby

(first exit on the roundabout). Then go straight over the next two roundabouts until you come to a main ‘Mr Kipling' Roundabout. Take the first exit on the roundabout, which follows downhill to a mini-roundabout, where you should carry straight on.

You should come past housing on both sides of the road before a large field, however, you should continue along this road (Boughton Road/Butlers Leap) until you come to its end at a T-Junction.

Turn right here, and continue up the hill past the golf course on the left and take the second left turning, which is at a mini roundabout (Butlin Road). Carry on down here until you come to cemetery gates when you should take a left turn at the top of the road and then a quick right, but the ground will be in view already.

Weather-wise, a very cold night is forecast. The temperature at kick off time is expected to be minus three degrees.
