Warwicks Lose Final 20/20 Game

Warwickshire County Cricket Club lost their final 20/20 game of the season away to Lancashire.

At Old Trafford, Lancs batted first in a game live on Sky and put on 61 for the opening wicket which saw Smith caught by Clarke.

Moore and Croft added 31 for the second wicket to give a wicket to Darren Maddy.

Whilst Moore was a thorn in the Warwicks side making 76, Maddy, Woakes and Ant Botha were able to get two wickets apiece and make in roads into the home side's batting as Lancs ended their twenty overs on 139-8.

Warwicks also started well putting on 53 before Varun Chopra was bowled by Parry after making seventeen in the seventh over.

Another 53 was added by the end of the fifteenth over when Keith Barker was bowled by Keedy for 23.

Nine runs later, Will Porterfield, who had made 63 from 64 balls, was caught.

In the final over, Warwicks lost Rikki Clarke as they went down to a 12 run defeat.
