Warwicks Declare Against Notts

Warwickshire County Cricket Club declared on 574-7 on the second day of their County Championship game with Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston.

Resuming on 235-3, Ian Westwood who was in great form continued to find runs along with Jim Troughton.

The pair put together a new fourth highest fourth wicket partnership at Edgbaston against Notts of 177, beating the 164 set twice in 1931 and 1935 when Westwood was finally out for 171.

Troughton completed his century and went on to make 151 before he was bowled by White.

Rikki Clarke hit four sixes and eighteen fours in an stand of 126 before he was caught by Bravo off the bowling of White before Warwicks declared on 574-7 in the 144th over.

Turner was caught by Chopra off the bowling of Chris Woakes as Notts ended the day on 86-1.
