Warwickshire County Cricket Club beat Worcestershire by seven wickets on the third day of their County Championship game at Edgbaston.

Needing 260 for victory, Warwicks resumed on 79-0. They added twenty one runs before Chopra was trapped lbw by Russell after making 58 and then Westwood and Porterfield put on 77 before Westwood went for 83 caught and bowled by Russell.

Porterfield lost his wicket after hitting 37 but an unbeaten 34 from Jim Troughton and 45 from Darren Maddy who has extended his contract at Edgbaston, saw Warwicks to victory.
