Scott Davies The New British U23 Time Trial Champion

Scott Davies of Team Wiggins is the British U23 Time Trial Champion for the third year in a row after taking the victory at the Biritsh National Championships in Stockton On Tees.

On a 7.2 mile (11.6km) course which was to be completed three times and one which saw the riders starting and finishing on the High Street in Stockton town centre and riding up the A11135, A1130 and on to Queen Elizabeth Way, over the River Tees before turning back and heading towards Stockton town centre to complete the lap, Jesse Yates was the first of 37 riders down the ramp and finished in a time of 48:23.569.

Pedal Heaven's Joe Fry then went fastest in 45:24.970 on a sunny afternoon before Gabriel Cullaigh of 100%ME took 44 seconds off Fry's time with a 44:40.240.
 
In to the last few riders and favourite Tao Geoghegan Hart of Axeon Hagens became the new leader with a time of 44:29.810 but in came Scott Davies of Team Wiggins to become the 2016 champion when he finished in a time of 44:10.430.
