Rain Stops Warwicks

Rain affected day two of Warwickshire's County Championship game against Nottinghamshire.

The Champions resumed on 139-6 and Rikki Clarke and Ian Blackwell added twenty three more runs before Blackwell was caught by Mullaney after making 37.

Clarke had also made 37 before he was bowled by Andy Carter.

Franks took the wickets of Wright and Patal as Warwicks were all out for 204 in 66.5overs, some 49 runs ahead .

Nottinghamshire had just wiped out that lead without losing a wicket when the rain came down.

Tea was taken early before play was abandoned for the day.
