Warwickshire County Cricket Club had a long day in the field on the second day of their County Championship game with Yorkshire at Edgbaston.

Yorks resumed on 82-2 and added thirty runs before Andrew Gale was caught behind by Tim Ambrose, after making 49, to give Chris Wright a wicket.

Ambrose was involved in the fourth wicket catching Alex Lees, who had made 64 before Jonny Bairstow and Arron Finch came to the crease.

The pair put on 92 for the fifth wicket which came when Bairstow was bowled by Boyd Rankin after making 68.

Finch was joined by Rich Pyrah and Finch made a century from 128 balls in 179 minutes, hitting nine fours and three sixes but when he was on 110, a brilliant catch from Tim Ambrose removed him and ended a 137 run partnership.

Pyrah went for 62 and was followed by Patterson giving Porterfield a catch after making 32.

That just left the tail enders and Ambrose took his fourth catch of the innings to see off Sidebottom and Chopra caught a Brooks shot to see Yorkshire all out for 422, with a lead of 194.
